Life is Beautiful

When my eyes were closed I didn’t see God’s plan anywhere.

Now that my eyes are open I see it everywhere.

I have been receiving powerful messages lately, and every time they fill me with confidence, joy and a relentless energy that makes me truly unstoppable as I go forth every day and do what I was sent here to do.

Every moment I am thankful to God for what He has created, the lessons He has taught me, and the work He has sent me here to do. I am thankful for every moment of my life and I know that my future will be brighter because I will make it so while performing my mission. I am also thankful for the amazing people that I meet and get a chance to work and spend time with.

“But Clint!!” protests the doubter.

“You could just be making the explanation of these events up! Seeing these “signs” and “messages” is pure coincidence or simply make believe! Statistically these numbers and events are bound to appear/occur multiple times on a given timeline of sufficient length! Remember that we are nothing more than random space dust that accidentally combined with other random space dust and spontaneously created a pointless life where you die totally when I can no longer see your body move around! Didn’t you play peekaboo as a child?! Don’t you know this universal truth?! Also, If you can’t prove something over and over again through experimentation then we cannot say it is real! You must dismiss everything that we cannot prove as mere coincidence. Despite being meaningless accidents humans are the greatest form of intelligence in a massive, never-ending, pointless dead space that exists without a purpose. Don’t you feel small and insignificant? Don’t you feel powerless? Don’t you want to replace positive stimuli with robotic negative reinforcement? Don’t you feel like your life is pointless and you must believe whatever perceived authority you are told to believe because you are so small in all this massive empty, pointless space? Don’t trust yourself! TRUST. THE. SCIENCE.”

My first reaction to these arguments is usually thinking “The doubter doth protest too much.” My second thought is usually to look around at the beauty of life and wonder how anyone could ever believe it was created by accident.

However, I think it is best to “answer” questions like these by challenging the doubter to look deeper into their own explanation of the universe past the simple talking points that they have been trained to use to dismiss complicated subjects. In this situation, I find, it is best to take away the crutch of “pure coincidence” that many people lean on so they never have to introspect further than they are comfortable with.

In this situation, I would also ask this:

“What happens to my mind and body if I see positivity everywhere? And it makes me more positive and energetic and joyful than the version of me who does not? What happens to your mind and body if you have trained yourself to disregard the positivity and beauty that exists all around you? Would the fact that I have this great benefit alone not justify the practice if nothing greater exists? How would this guide my actions? How would this affect my health and the lives of those who rely on or interact with me? What if this, in and of itself, was the design of this blessing? What if something greater does exist and you have just fooled yourself into disregarding it each time you questioned its existence? Which one of us would be better on any given timeline based solely on the effect of our individual interpretation? What if you are far more powerful and capable of creating change than you have been told you are? What if there is more you cannot see and prove than there is that you can?

What would this practice, of appreciating the beauty and being empowered by the positive energy all around us, have on the soul? Something that is you (or part of you) and will (or could) last longer than the physical body you currently occupy in this world right now? If you do not believe that you have a soul then I would ask you to explore, for just a moment, the possibility that you might.

What if it is your belief that nothing greater exists that has sealed you off from it? And it could be changed simply by the way you think?

The fact is, I can do anything with nothing. And even little things that I notice make me exponentially stronger, happier and more capable of helping others. This can occur multiple times a day. If that is not your truth now, it could be if you reevaluate things you have been told, conclusions you have reached, and look into yourself and answer the questions you have been avoiding.”

To the doubter I would say that you should answer these questions yourself. Or just explore them. I don’t know your truth, but I know that what I do is right for me and is so for reasons far greater than can be explained using words.

And to those who have answered these questions and found greater meaning I say:

“God be with you, brothers and sisters. Let us continue our blessed work.”

The “777” was on my birthday.
